Job Description:
The Supply Chain Manager ensures the availability of materials and components necessary for production, while optimizing costs, lead times, and inventory levels. They manage the entire supply process from needs planning to receipt, and ensure compliance with customer service, quality, and logistics performance objectives.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree (BAC+5) in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Logistics;
More than 10 years of experience in supply chain management;
APICS certification preferred.
Main responsibilities:
1. Team Management & Leadership
- Supervise, support, and develop the supply chain specialists in their daily tasks and in their relationships with suppliers.
- Evaluate workload, ensure workload/capacity balance, and organize replacements (vacations, absences, departures).
- Lead departmental meetings, monitor objectives, and track associated action plans.
- Ensure the skill level of procurement specialists: portfolio management, ERP proficiency, procurement techniques, customer-supplier relations, negotiation, and communication.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure skills development and versatility.
2. Operational Performance & KPIs
- Monitor and manage Supply Chain performance indicators (OTD, delays, work in progress, disputes, VEX).
- Lead action plans associated with KPIs and supplier performance.
3. VEX Management
- Lead the VEX control process and ensure the consolidation, monitoring, and management of action plans.
- Analyze results and propose corrective or improvement actions.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process within the scope.
- Encourage and initiate improvement ideas (PIs), participate in cross-functional projects.
5. Human Resources
: Manage HR within the scope: recruitment, training, cross-functionality, evaluation.
Ensure upward and downward communication.
Guarantee the application of internal regulations and HSE rules.
