Supply Chain Coordinator Astrazeneca Pharma India Ltd.

Accountabilities:

• b>Manage end-to-end import and release/b>: Handle import licenses and shipment release with the b>EDA/b>, including preparation and attendance at inspections.
• b>Oversee customs clearance/b>: Provide complete approval documents, review shipping papers from supplying sites, and greenlight shipments.
• b>Submit and track NODCAR samples/b>: Follow up until final batch release by b>EDA/NODCAR/b>.
• b>Coordinate arrival and distribution/b>: Track shipments through depots to ensure efficient, compliant delivery.
• b>Protect cold chain and integrity/b>: Check temperature reports, ensure storage conditions, and audit distributors for good handling.
• b>Maintain inventory health/b>: Monitor weekly stock, ensure safety stock, and coordinate orders and packaging with supplying sites.
• b>Collaborate cross-functionally/b>: Work with b>Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Inventory, Quality, and Global Supply Chain/b>.
• b>Be present in the field (~60%)/b>: Visit b>EDA/b>, other governmental entities, and the b>AZ warehouse (6th of October City)/b>.

• b>Deliver under pressure/b>: Proactively resolve issues to keep supply moving.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Minimum 3 years experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations or relevant science background.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Hands-on experience with EDA/NODCAR processes, customs brokerage coordination, and cold-chain logistics.
• Familiarity with GDP, GxP, and quality systems in pharmaceutical distribution.
• Experience conducting distributor audits and interpreting temperature excursion reports.
