Develop and execute strategic plans: Align short- and mid-term departmental strategies with corporate goals.

Lead Sustainability Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive sustainability initiatives, including compliance with environmental regulations.

Monitor and report KPIs: Track departmental performance and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure regulatory compliance: Implement policies, procedures, and controls to meet standards and mitigate risks.

Promote a culture of sustainability: Engage stakeholders, lead awareness campaigns, and foster sustainable practices across the organization.

Implement Continuous Improvement: Identify sustainability opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and practices using international best practices.

Oversee industry Change Initiatives: Lead implementation of new systems and processes to adapt to evolving business needs.

Ensure Accurate Reporting: Establish metrics and reporting systems for sustainability and operational performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Lead awareness campaigns and training sessions to educate employees about sustainable practices.

Advocate for sustainability initiatives at the executive level and within the broader community.

Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with industry standards and local legislation.

Sustainability & ESG Reporting

Lead the preparation of annual sustainability and ESG reports, ensuring alignment with international frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB).

Support materiality assessments and maintain alignment with industry best practices.

Coordinate data collection, validation, and analysis for sustainability KPIs.

Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance

Collaborate with clients, regulators, and certifying bodies to ensure compliance with environmental and social requirements.

Drive sustainability awareness across the organization through training, workshops, and communications.

Establish and implement internal key performance indicators that align with Saudi green initiatives and the nationally determined contributions.

Support external assurance processes and contribute to sustainability programs such as the Sustainability Champion Program.

Sustainability Excellence & Innovation

Provide sustainability input into rig design evaluations, procurement, and operations.

Assess and recommend emerging technologies that improve efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.

Support HSE and operational teams in embedding sustainable practices into daily operations.

Energy Management & Efficiency

Develop, implement, and monitor energy management systems aligned with ISO 50001.

Identify opportunities for energy cost optimization and reduction of fuel consumption in drilling operations.

Ensure compliance with Aramco and government approvals for new technologies.
