Key Accountabilities · Full responsibility of the du Cloud Services and Infrastructure. · Administer systems such as Windows, Active Directory, Customers workloads monitoring and configurations. · Diagnose system issues, predict future trends, make recommendations and implement client solutions · Monitor system performance and be proactive in assessing and providing recommendations for improvement of assigned systems and technologies · Patch Management and update assigned systems · Maintain and enhance assigned systems for a variety of different vendor products including backup, performance management, network security, network services, etc. · Follow the escalation matrix and update the flash report for the delayed projects in order to notify the management and other stakeholders · Update the managers on open Problem Notifications, production issues. · Create, maintain and update required documentation, records, logs, and reports. · Liaison with internal du departments, teams, vendors, and suppliers to determine user requirements, execute projects, and set service standards · Working on IM’s, FR’s and CR’s, updating and managing the tickets on the ticketing tool · Experience/knowledge in Manage Engine, OMI Monitoring Solutions, administering systems, configuring the monitoring for the new customers, troubleshooting the existing monitoring configurations for onboarded customer · Alerts Managements · Knowledge on VMWare, VCentre, Network and/or Storage and minimum experience maintaining Cloud environment · Experience in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems · Experience maintaining and applying security policies and procedures · Experience in MS OS Patching, patching process · Knowledge on the ITIL Process of Incident, Request and Change Management processes · Backups: a. Monitor the Avamar, Networker, Data Protector and Rubricks backups solutions and their available across the platforms b. Reporting L2/L3 issues to the L3 team Configuration c. Recover the failed backup jobs d. Restore backups (VM, db, and file) as per the customer’s request

Minimum Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc/B.E or a equivalent degree) in Computer Science or Information Systems

· Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Managed Service operations or IT Operations

· Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics and monitoring tools

· Experience with antivirus/malware and patch management technologies


Skills

  • Language proficiency in the following languages - English/Arabic

  • Must have knowledge on using the following tools: HP Service Management, Cisco ACI, UCS, Zenoss, VMWare and UCS Director

  • Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment.

  • Monitoring all day-to-day activities

  • Plan and perform on-job training whenever required.

  • Experience of dealing with customers, specialists and service providers

  • Good conflict training, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills

  • Be customer service-minded and focus on solution providing.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.

  • Provide comprehensive solutions.

  • Be self-motivated and take initiative.
