• For TGT : Essential:

1. Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Or

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The elective subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under:

a. For TGT (Arts & Craft/Fine Arts): Equivalent recognized degree like BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) of Five years recognized diploma in drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art.

b. For TGT (Music): Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in vocal/instrumental Music as a major / elective subject.

c. For TGT (Social Science): Any two of the following:

History, Geography, Economics & Political Science of which one must be Geography

2. B.Ed or Equivalent degree from recognized University

• For PGT: Essential:

1. Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject;

Or

A Post-Graduate in concerned subject with at least 45% marks from a recognized university and a B.Ed from recognized institution as per NCTE Regulation notified on 10.12.2007.

Or

Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:

• PGT (Physical Education) - (M. P. Ed. or Master of Physical Education (MPE) or M. Sc. In Health & Physical Education and Degree in Sports with at least 55% marks as per NCTE recognition norms & procedure

Proficiency in teaching in English Medium

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application
