Technical Assistant – POS Devices POS 10 Technologies

Installation & Deployment

• Assist in installation and configuration of POS terminals

• Support device imaging, software loading, and application configuration.

• Install peripherals (receipt printers, barcode scanners, SIM cards).

• Perform onsite deployment at merchant outlets.

Troubleshooting & Technical Support

• Diagnose hardware and software issues.

• Replace faulty components (battery, printer head, motherboard, etc.).

• Assist in resolving connectivity issues (WiFi, SIM).

• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support.

• Coordinate escalations with senior technicians or OEM support teams.

Testing & Quality Checks

• Conduct device testing before dispatch.

• Perform firmware updates and OS upgrades.

• Verify terminal certifications (PCI, EMV readiness if applicable).

• Maintain QC checklist documentation.

Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain records of devices issued, repaired, and replaced.

• Support spare parts inventory tracking.

• Update CRM / service management software.

• Prepare service reports and daily activity logs.

  
  

Field Service Support

• Attend service calls within SLA timelines.

• Ensure proper device handling and compliance.

• Collect defective units and arrange replacements.

• Maintain professional relationships with merchants.
