IT & Systems Specialist Abracadabra

A new indoor family entertainment centre launching in Al Quoz is seeking a hands-on IT & Systems Specialist to manage and maintain the full technology infrastructure of the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable network performance, secure surveillance systems, seamless audio-visual experiences, and smooth operation of all business software platforms.
Key Responsibilities

• Network & WiFi Infrastructure

o Manage firewall, switches and structured network systems

o Maintain secure separation of guest WiFi, staff network, POS and CCTV systems

o Monitor bandwidth usage and troubleshoot connectivity issues

o Coordinate with ISP providers

• CCTV & Security Systems

o Oversee CCTV cameras and NVR systems

o Ensure compliance with Dubai/SIRA requirements

o Maintain recording backups and uptime

o Coordinate maintenance with vendors

• Sound & Projection Systems

o Manage zoned audio systems (play area, party rooms, F&B, immersive room)

o Troubleshoot amplifiers, speakers and media systems

o Maintain projection systems and immersive room equipment

o Support licensed background music platforms

• POS & Business Software

o Support POS terminals, payment devices and booking systems

o Maintain CRM and operational software

o Troubleshoot hardware (printers, scanners, tablets)

o Ensure data backups and system reliability

• Microsoft 365 & IT Security

o Manage user accounts and permissions

o Maintain email and data security controls

o Implement endpoint protection and firewall monitoring

o Maintain basic disaster recovery and IT SOP documentation

• Vendor & License Management

o Coordinate with IT, AV, CCTV and software vendors

o Track annual licenses and service contracts

o Support system upgrades and renewals
