Technical Director - Sofitel Thalassa Algiers SOFITEL

Summary of responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and management of all technical and maintenance activities at the facility. You will ensure the safety, compliance, and reliability of the installations, as well as operational excellence, while optimizing costs and energy performance. The essential responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• To lead and manage the Engineering department (maintenance, energy, technical security, projects, etc.)

• Ensure the proper functioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of all the hotel's technical installations.

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, hygiene, fire safety standards and local and group regulations

• to be the guarantor of the establishment's technical compliance and associated audits

• to develop and manage the budget of the Technical Department, including CAPEX and OPEX expenditures

• Plan, coordinate and supervise renovation, improvement and technical investment projects

• Optimize the hotel's energy and environmental performance, in line with the Group's CSR strategy

• Ensure close collaboration with other departments to support customer experience and daily operations.

• To manage, develop and motivate technical teams, fostering a safe and efficient work environment

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Technical Department

• Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders (owners, suppliers, auditors, local authorities, group teams, etc.)
