الأدوار والمسؤوليات
Supervise technical office engineers (civil, QS, shop drawings).
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Review and approve team deliverables before submission to management or consultants.
- Review and approve shop drawings in line with project specifications and contracts.
- Prepare and finalize as-built drawings at project completion.
- Prepare and verify quantity take-offs (BOQ).
- Review and approve monthly project invoices and payment certificates.
- Coordinate with contracts and procurement departments to clarify specifications and quantities.
- Support the site team with clarifications and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Train and mentor junior technical office engineers.
- Develop workflows and continuously improve team performance and efficiency.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience:
- Minimum 5 9 years of experience in technical office functions within construction companies.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Proven track record in managing shop drawings, QS, contracts, and coordination with consultants.
- Solid experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Excellent command of AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), Primavera/MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to review and approve shop drawings, as-built drawings, and method statements.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
