We are urgently seeking a (Technical Superintendent & Senior Mechanical Engineer for our RAK YARD as per below job descriptions:

Ideal candidates are working in similar roles at competitor organizations such as McDermot, L&T, Lamprell, Petrojet, TARGET, Petrofac, Saipem, Samsung, and Hyundai.

Technical Superintendent

• Bachelors degree in engineering with min 10 years of related work experience in similar industry.

• To Assist in executing efficiently Mechanical/Hydraulic, Electrical & Electronic repair & Maintenance service provide, including installation, maintenance & repair of mechanical &/hydraulic electrical & Electronic equipment.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Bachelors degree in engineering with min 8 years of related work experience in similar industry.

• To Assist in executing efficiently Mechanical/Hydraulic repair & Maintenance service provide, including installation, maintenance & repair of mechanical &/hydraulic equipment.

Requirements:

•    Execute and monitor the established policies and procedures for an effective and efficient functioning of the Technical Department by visit the engine room on a regular basis.

•    Manage and monitor budget on a day-to-day basis and provide the Manager with weekly financial reports.

•    Accurate reports to the Base Plant Superintendent & Sr. Technical Manager on Work done/ day-to-day Performance, issues and preventive maintenance requirements

•    Conduct regular visits to ensure effective and safe operation of all vessels and support crafts, according to HSE requirements. Respond to QHSE reports and ensure addressed issues will be solved

Mechanical/Hydraulic

•    Preparation of various process calculations including hydraulics, process simulations, piping sizing, control valve and equipment sizing, pressure head calculations, and performance flow curves

•    Execute the implementation of the maintenance schedule in accordance with plan and technical specifications

•    Cost-benefit analysis for competing process solutions resulting in robust, cost-effective designs a Trouble-shooting existing systems in the field, determine modifications to existing systems to change performance, etc.

•    Prepare technical Hydraulic specifications Prepare Hydraulic data sheets and equipment descriptions/sizing

•    Ensure maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all hydraulic equipment

•    Ensure that the HSE requirements are observed in the execution of all mechanical activities, Provide guidelines to junior staff on QA/QC and HSE reports/recommendations

Mechanical

•    Day to day manage the implementation of the annual electrical work plan

•    Provide the Electrical Manager with input for the development of maintenance strategy and manage its implementation for all electrical parts of all vessels and support crafts

•    Provide the operation with adequate and appropriate electrical expertise to keep the business running and minimize the down time.

•    Provide, collect and analyse the electrical purchase requisitions and provide input and recommendations to the Electrical Manager to order electrical (spare) parts and equipment

•    Provide leadership and guidance towards department's Electrical engineers act as a specialist if issues cannot be solved onsite

•    Show respect, flexibility and loyalty towards colleagues throughout the organization

•    Manage conflict, solve problems and mediate between different interests of multiple stakeholders

Verbal communication/ Language skills
