Mechanical Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on generators, engines, vehicles, and mechanical equipment.
• Assist in engine overhauling for small engine sizes.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and support repairs under guidance of senior technicians.
• Install, replace, and repair faulty mechanical components according to safety standards.

Emergency & Field Support

• Participate in emergency shutdowns and breakdown response.
• Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical failures in power generation equipment.
• Work effectively under pressure during urgent maintenance situations.

Tools & Spare Parts Management

• Ensure all tools are properly maintained, calibrated, and safely used.
• Manage and organize spare parts inventory in line with company procedures.
• Support transfer of tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.

Reporting & Documentation

• Complete field service and maintenance reports using mobile/CRM systems.
• Document work performed, findings, generator status, and recommendations accurately.
• Report any equipment damage, loss, or irregularities using approved forms.

Workshop & Site Management

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workshop, tools, and work areas.
• Safeguard equipment and maintenance vehicles under custody.

Compliance & Control

• Assist in detecting and reporting:
  Unauthorized maintenance
  Misuse or abuse of generators
  Counterfeit or non-approved spare parts
• Follow company safety, quality, and operational standards at all times.

Team & Customer Interaction

• Support senior technicians and team leaders in daily operations.
• Communicate with customers to understand issues or feedback and relay them to the supervisor.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams (service, warehouse, supervisors).

Continuous Support

• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Support junior technicians when required.
• Stay updated on basic mechanical best practices and safety procedures.
