Performance Energy is supporting a major onshore drilling campaign in the Middle East, focused on Coil Tubing Drilling (CTD) re-entry operations using underbalanced Nitrogen systems.

We are seeking experienced CTD Tool Pushers to support a multi-rig campaign delivering drill-outs, sidetracks, and preset well operations in a technically demanding land environment.

Role Purpose

The CTD Tool Pusher will be responsible for overseeing and managing CTD rig operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of underbalanced drilling activities.

This role acts as the senior on-site operational leader, responsible for coordinating crews, maintaining performance standards, and delivering operational control across all phases of the campaign.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day CTD rig operations on location

• Supervise drill-out, sidetrack, and re-entry well activities

• Ensure execution of operations in line with approved programmes and SOPs

• Maintain full operational control within underbalanced Nitrogen drilling environments

• Coordinate rig crews and service teams to ensure efficient workflow

• Uphold HSE, well control, and operational standards at all times

• Provide clear reporting and communication with client representatives

• Operation Type: CTD re-entry drill-outs and sidetracks

• Environment: Onshore land operations

• Tubing: 2.3/4" Coil Tubing

• Drilling System: Nitrogen underbalanced drilling

• Well Type: Preset and re-entry wells

• Campaign Scope: Multi-well programme

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience managing CTD rigs in operational environments

• Strong background in underbalanced CTD (UBCTD) campaigns

• Proven leadership experience in Tool Pusher or senior supervisory roles

• Hands-on experience delivering drill-out and sidetrack operations

• Ability to manage high-pressure, safety-critical drilling environments

Preferred / Advantageous Background

• Recent experience (last 5 years) in UBCTD campaigns

• Experience working on Middle East land drilling projects

• Strong operational leadership across multi-rig environments

• Ability to manage teams in remote and high-demand conditions

Certifications (Mandatory)

• Well Control Certification (IADC or IWCF)

• Valid offshore/onshore medical (OGUK or equivalent)
