Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:
• Maintain optimal stock levels by monitoring fast-moving items and recommending future orders to the purchasing team
• Regularly review inventory levels together with sales data
• Coordinate with purchasing team when items approaching re-order levels
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses due to theft or damage.
2. Receiving and Logistics:
• Keep all departments informed about the arrival of goods, any delays, and other relevant updates
• Oversee the efficient receipt, loading/offloading, and storage of materials
• Inspect materials for quality, quantity, and specifications and report any discrepancies
• Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to minimize damage or spoilage
• Suggest improvements to storage and organization
3. Vendor/Purchase Management:
• Build strong vendor relationships through regular communication and prompt issue resolution
• Process vendor bills and forward them to Accounts for payment
• Ensure proper care and preservation of materials
• Provide assistance to the purchasing team as needed
4. Order Fulfillment and Inventory Check:
• Prepare packages for inter-company requests and online orders
• Ensure timely restocking of items to avoid delays and backorders in fulfilling requests
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies
5. Other Store Management:
• Manage store personnel and promote a safe working environment
• Plan and organize chemical refilling process with internal and external team
• Identify and report obsolete or slow-moving items and suggest the appropriate action
• Ensure the store is always well-maintained, up-to-date, and presentable

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional inventory management or warehousing certifications are advantageous.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role in warehouse management.
• Experience with inventory control, stock management, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP, or warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with vendors, the purchasing team, and other departments.
