A well-known university is seeking an experienced and dynamic Alumni Relations Manager to lead the alumni engagement strategy, strengthen relationships between the University and the alumni community, and enhance alumni participation in institutional initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a robust alumni network, organizing events, and driving communication and engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee alumni relations strategy and annual programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Plan and manage alumni events, reunions, networking programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Lead communication initiatives including newsletters, email campaigns, social media, and alumni portal updates.
- Manage alumni databases, maintain accurate records, and ensure data privacy compliance.
- Coordinate mentorship, volunteering, fundraising and engagement campaigns with internal departments.
- Monitor alumni feedback, engagement analytics, and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
- Represent the university at alumni gatherings, forums, and external events.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
- Proven experience in event management and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of CRM or alumni engagement systems is an advantage.
- Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
