KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather relevant information pertaining to absent workers and take measures to motivate them to attend to work.
  • Coordinate with production in monitoring absenteeism and employee turnover, together with the HR Executive ER, develop and promote employee motivation by focusing on training and development programs and work life balancing initiatives.
  • Follow-up on absent employees through phone call checks whilst, visiting their residences/ boarding houses as and when the need arises in order to obtain reasons/ information pertaining to absenteeism.
  • Compile relevant reports supporting employee absenteeism and turnover whilst, circulating it to relevant personnel and enter relevant information pertaining to same in an accurate an timely manner on the SAP system.
  • Analyze and monitor carder requirements for the shift on a module wise basis.
  • Together with Executive - Employee Relations handle disciplinary and grievance matters, direct employees to the counsellor and facilitate employees in resolving personal/ official issues.
  • Initiate and complete relevant welfare and CSR activities by coordinating and communicating same in a timely and orderly manner, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Activity Calendar.
  • Coordinate with relevant personal to ensure the Women Go Beyond programme is successfully conducted and implemented at the plant.
  • Provide information with regards to health and safety concerns, issues and suggestions raised by employees to compliance point person and get get engaged team members for problem solving in health and safety.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Graduate or undergraduate in Human Resources or any relevant field.
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience assisting in Employee Relations related activities.
  • Knowledge of WGB practices and trainings.
