This will eventually help in finding radical, sustainable solutions to the major issues, improving competitiveness, and supporting smart government in its attempts to keep pace with global advancements, advance education, and push it to broad horizons of excellence, leadership, and competitiveness.

Department Definition:

The Science department aims to teach Chemistry to students who need a solid foundation to develop their skills. The incumbent is responsible to assess students performance with the aim of helping students develop the linguistic ability to function effectively in an international environment.

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Model and support a learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation.
• Ensure that students reach the expected age-related outcomes for Chemistry.
• Gain an understanding of working with Arab youth who will study Chemistry in English.
• Create a positive, active, language-rich learning environment.
• Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives.
• Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner.
• Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance.
• Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues.
