JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE CIVIL SUPERVISOR
DEPARTMENT ENGINEERING

PURPOSE & SCOPE : Assisting project and to improve performance and productivity with proper resource
allocation and utilization.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Recording the attendance of worker on daily basis and reporting to the engineer in
charge every morning.
Read & understand drawing to guide Technical Team like Mason, Steel fixers,
Carpenters, Tiller & Helper etc.
Estimation and supervision for all type of finishing work and Masonry work as per
actual site conditions.
Responsible for selection of proper material depending on the application of masonry
work.
Make sure Jobs are allotted as per planed Schedule and requirement
Ensuring the work is executed as per the drawings and the right schedule
Provide guideline for proper use of masonry equipment & tools with safety.
Supervise for proper mixing of cement, plaster and adequate proportion
Prepare accurate reports of performed work daily, weekly & monthly and submission
to engineer in charge.
Provide technical assistance to the construction team as needed
Monitor, verify, and document the work being performed through subordinates
Coordination and Close Monitoring of Subcontractor works
Coordinating with site in charges for work progress.
Preparing material request for various project.
Coordinate with the engineers & supervisors to update regarding the progress.
Coordination with MEP Supervisor (team) to avoid any double work.
Keeping record of material delivered and informing engineer in charge in advance for
the required materials.
Receiving the material at site with ensuring that LPO IS Attached and material is
complying with MR.
Ensuring that time sheet for each month to be provided to site coordinator on time.
Keeping proper manpower transfer record.
Notifying the engineer in charge for any potential obstacles on site which can delay the
work.
As per operational requirement Employee may be deployed in any of the Emirates and
may be assigned to different department if and when required.
