The role operates above individual Scrum teams, coordinating delivery across multiple streams while working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own end-to-end delivery execution across projects and teams.
2. Ensure delivery commitments are met in terms of scope, schedule, quality, and cost.
3. Track progress against delivery milestones and release plans.
4. Proactively identify delivery risks and implement mitigation actions.

Coordinate delivery across:

• Multiple Scrum teams
• Shared services (DevOps, QA, Integration)
• External vendors and partners
• Manage cross-team dependencies and integration points.
• Align sprint and release plans across teams.

Act as the primary delivery escalation point for customers and management.

• Communicate delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly.
• Participate in steering committee and executive review meetings.
• Manage expectations regarding delivery timelines and commitments.

Ensure delivery complies with:

• Contractual obligations
• Organizational governance
• Quality and audit requirements
• Manage delivery-level risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support change impact assessment on delivery timelines and resources.

Support Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery models as required.

• Work with Scrum Masters to ensure:
• Stable sprint velocity
• Predictable delivery
• Continuous improvement
• Align Agile execution with fixed-scope or milestone-based contracts.

Plan and monitor delivery capacity across teams.

• Ensure optimal allocation of resources across delivery streams.
• Identify resource gaps and coordinate staffing solutions.
• Balance short-term delivery pressure with long-term sustainability.

Prepare delivery dashboards and KPIs, including:

• Schedule adherence
• Release predictability
• Risk exposure
• Team capacity utilization
• Provide accurate and transparent reporting to senior management.

Identify delivery bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

• Drive improvements in delivery processes and practices.
• Promote standardization of delivery practices across teams.
