Job Title: Finance Controller Agri Commodities

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller with a strong background in agri-commodities trading, preferably with hands-on exposure in African and other international markets. The role will oversee financial operations, controls, reporting, and compliance for multi-country trading activities for a leading company in the sector. Experience in cocoa trading is a strong added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all financial accounting, reporting, and control functions for agri-commodity trading operations.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.

• Manage trade finance, including LC structures, pre/post-shipment finance, and banking relationships.

• Ensure accurate accounting of commodity trades, inventories, hedging, and pricing mechanisms.

• Monitor and strengthen internal controls, risk management, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

• Handle multi-currency, multi-entity accounting across Africa and other international markets.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

• Support senior management with financial analysis, MIS reporting, and strategic decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
