  • Presents himself well dressed, well-groomed with perfect personal hygiene and with a smile.

  • Checks the Pass On, the daily Calling at the beginning of the duty

  • Addresses the guests by name.

  • Greeting and welcoming every guest.

  • Checks all reservations and arrivals of the day.

  • Prepares the key booklets and registration forms for the arrival of the guest.

  • Coordinates with Housekeeping and Butler regarding the blocking of rooms according to the preferences of the guest.

  • Ensures that butlers are aware of arrival time to meet for in room check in.

  • Attends to all check ins / and check outs at the reception in a professional manner following the LQA/Forbes Audit.

  • Is responsible for the enforcement of formalities and establishes proper identity of each guest

  • Ensures entering of all guest data in the Ministry of Interior computer on arrival and departure.

  • Applies corporate rate to guests who are entitled to such facility.

  • Ensures proper updates of guest history.

  • Applies hotel policy regarding walk-in guests and late charges.

  • Ascertains reconfirmation of the departure dates.

  • Passes the guest feedback to the Assistant Front Office Manager or FOM.

  • Listens to guest wishes and acts promptly.

  • Responsible for clarifying the method of payment upon check-in.

  • Takes reservations whenever the Reservation department is busy or not available.

  • Hands-over his shift properly.

  • Is fully responsible for the cashier float entrusted to him and ensures that correct balance of amount in cashier is always maintained.

  • Ensures correct back up for all cashier postings and is responsible for conducting a proper cashier balancing at the end of his shift.

  • Carries out duties that may from time to time be assigned to him by the Front Office Manager or the FDM and AFOM.

  • Cooperates with all Rooms Department sections to guarantee a memorable and flawless stay of a guest.

  • Responsible to finish the shift checklist on time.

  • Conducts all postings according to the set SOPs.
