Ayedh Dejem Group (ADG) is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to provide strategic and operational leadership across Design Management, Construction Management, and Development.
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards, in alignment with ADG’s strategic business objectives and growth plans. The role also leads contract, commercial, and portfolio governance, ensuring strong risk management and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
Partner with executive leadership to translate ADG’s strategic vision into executable project and portfolio plans.
Define departmental objectives and KPIs, ensuring ≥90% of projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Drive data‑driven decision‑making and proactive risk mitigation.
Governance, Policies & Processes
Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, SOPs, and controls aligned with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Implement portfolio management tools and executive reporting dashboards.
Budget, Cost & Commercial Management
Manage all activities related to Project Management at ADG and ensure all activities are performed within the specified budget and timeframe.
Manage the development and implementation of project management strategy and framework including tools and processes that enhance the delivery of project and portfolio management.
Lead project scoping, feasibility, cost planning, procurement strategy, and tender documentation (technical specifications, BOQs, evaluation criteria.
Drive tendering & bid evaluation, ensuring transparency, best‑value selection, and alignment with ADG commercial standards.
Conduct negotiations and award recommendations with optimal risk allocation and price/quality balance.
Ensure pre‑contract documentation structure and risk allocation are aligned with FIDIC (e.g., Red/Yellow Book) and relevant legal frameworks.
Oversee contract administration, performance monitoring, and compliance with technical, commercial, safety, and statutory requirements.
Oversee contract negotiations, and vendor management.
Project & Design Management
Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery across the portfolio.
Lead design management activities including RFPs, design briefs, drawings, and project manuals.
Ensure full coordination of architectural, structural, MEP, and safety systems.
Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of the project portfolio to maximize ROI and strategic impact; prioritize projects by business value and resource capacity.
Track progress against corporate KPIs and planned deliverables; implement corrective actions for slippage and escalate issues proactively.
Drive proactive risk management, contingency planning, and benefits realization across the portfolio.
People Leadership
Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing project management team.
Conduct performance reviews, succession planning, and capability development.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide regular executive updates on project performance, budget variance, and resource utilization.
Provide timely executive reporting (dashboards, exception reports) to the CEO/Board.
Continuous Improvement
Implement and maintain standardized project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile).
Drive improvements in project cycle time, cost predictability, safety performance, and quality compliance.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
Professional certifications in project management (PMP /PRINCE2) and FIDIC certification or formal training in FIDIC contract administration preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in real estate project development and management, including leadership of large, complex projects/portfolios in the region.
Excellent Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly preferred.
