IT Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations across both Egypt sites, ensuring high system availability and performance
• Ensure compliance with Mondi Group IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and governance frameworks
• Act as primary liaison between Mondi Egypt and Regional / Group IT teams
• Manage local IT infrastructure including networks, servers, user devices, printers, shopfloor systems, and connectivity
• Support and coordinate SAP and business systems (e.g., SAP FI/CO, MM, PP modules) in collaboration with Regional IT
• Ensure data security, backup integrity, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity planning
• Supervise local IT support resources and external service providers
• Lead local IT projects including system upgrades, hardware refresh, digitalization initiatives, and plant automation support
• Monitor and control IT-related costs in alignment with approved budgets
• Identify system risks, vulnerabilities, or inefficiencies and implement timely corrective actions
• Support end-users across finance, production, supply chain, and administrative functions

Requirements & Skills

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) frequent communication with Regional and HQ IT teams
• Proven experience as an IT Manager, IT Supervisor, or Senior IT Specialist in a manufacturing or multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity standards, and IT governance
• Experience working within corporate IT frameworks (preferably in a matrix reporting structure)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Computer networks and network administration
• Server management and virtualization
• Data backup and recovery systems
• Microsoft environments and enterprise systems
• Exposure to SAP environments is a strong advantage
• Ability to manage external vendors and service providers
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
