• Load and unload shipments efficiently and carefully to prevent damage.
• Manage and organize inventory in accordance with company procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Prepare orders for shipment by accurately picking and packing items.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are logged and recorded properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the distribution center at all times.
• Assist with inventory counts and help reconcile discrepancies in stock levels.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent workplace accidents.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job duties.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations.
• Assist with training new employees on distribution center processes and safety measures.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required for this position.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
