PAYROLL AND BILLING ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Billing Accountant to manage end-to-end payroll processing and client billing functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within a staffing or manpower supply company, and be well-versed in UAE labor laws, WPS regulations, VAT compliance, and invoicing best practices. Experience in UAE / GCC clients is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

• Process monthly payroll for outsourced staff in compliance with UAE labor laws and WPS (Wage Protection System).
• Validate employee attendance, overtime, deductions, and incentives for accurate payroll processing.
• Handle payroll-related queries from employees and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure data accuracy.

Billing & Invoicing:

• Prepare accurate and timely invoices to clients based on approved timesheets, contracts, and agreed billing cycles.
• Reconcile billed hours with client POs and ensure all documentation is in place.
• Coordinate with operations and sales teams to ensure billing accuracy and completeness.

Accounting & Compliance:

• Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations for billing and payroll transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing, reporting, and audits as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in a similar role, n the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, WPS, VAT, and payroll processes.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Strong communication skills in English.
