Perform Hydrogen Sulphide (H₂S) dispersion modeling for potential gas release scenarios in oil and gas facilities.
Conduct consequence modeling and risk analysis to assess the impact of toxic gas dispersion.
Utilize industry software such as PHAST, FLACS, or ALOHA to simulate gas release and dispersion behavior.
Analyze meteorological data (wind speed, direction, temperature) to evaluate dispersion patterns.
Identify hazard zones, exposure levels, and safety distances for personnel and facilities.
Prepare technical reports, risk assessment documents, and HSE studies in accordance with industry standards.
Support QRA, HAZID, and HAZOP studies related to process safety and gas release scenarios.
Provide recommendations for risk mitigation, safety improvements, and emergency response planning.
Coordinate with engineering, HSE, and project teams to ensure safety compliance during project execution.
Ensure all studies and documentation comply with international safety standards and client requirements.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering (Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience may be considered).
3–5 years of experience in Process Safety / HSE within the Oil & Gas sector.
Hands-on experience in Gas Dispersion Modeling, preferably Hydrogen Sulphide (H₂S) studies.
Proficiency in industry software such as PHAST, FLACS, or ALOHA.
Good understanding of Process Safety, Risk Assessment, QRA, HAZOP, and HAZID studies.
Ability to analyze gas release scenarios, hazard zones, and impact assessments.
Experience in preparing HSE technical reports and safety documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering and HSE teams.
Knowledge of international Oil & Gas safety standards and best practices will be an advantage.
