الأدوار والمسؤوليات
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience by coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Train, manage and motivate staff, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Respond to customer queries and complaints
- Meet and greet customers, organize table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety, including ensuring good food safety practices are followed.
- Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash
- Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
- Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
- Organize marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
- Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales
- Create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development
- Set budgets or agree them with senior management
- Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef
- Schedule staff shifts effectively to balance operational needs with employee work-life balance, enhancing team morale.
- Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that the restaurant ambiance aligns with the brand identity and guest expectations.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and training staff on hygiene practices.
- Lead and train a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability to enhance service delivery.
- Manage inventory levels and supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to secure high-quality ingredients while minimizing costs.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred for a solid foundational knowledge.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, showcasing a track record of achieving sales and service goals.
- Certifications in food safety and alcohol service are essential, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Experience in fast-paced dining environments, with a preference for candidates who have worked in fine dining or high-volume settings.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills are crucial, enabling the manager to inspire and motivate staff to exceed expectations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling the manager to address challenges proactively and maintain operational flow.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred, especially those fluent in English and the local language, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- A passion for the culinary arts and guest services, coupled with a charismatic personality that enhances the dining experience.
