Fourth Dimension Group is a subcontractor supporting major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar and UAE. Our scope includes mechanical and piping construction works such as fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, and site execution coordination with the main contractor.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to manage planning and scheduling activities for our mechanical and piping construction scope within major Oil & Gas projects.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and controlling detailed subcontract schedules and coordinating closely with the main contractor’s planning team to ensure alignment with overall project milestones.

Project Scope

Mechanical and piping construction works for Oil & Gas projects, including fabrication, installation/erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning activities, and overall site execution supervision in coordination with the main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Level 4 & Level 5 schedules using Primavera P6

• Prepare resource-loaded programs and manpower histograms

• Monitor fabrication, erection, testing, and pre-commissioning progress

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports

• Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks

• Prepare recovery and acceleration plans when required

• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, procurement, and main contractor planning teams

• Track material delivery, fabrication status, and site progress

• Perform progress measurement and productivity analysis

• Support project management in planning and reporting matters
