Senior Supervisor - Occupational Health (UAE National) EMIRATES GLOBAL ALUMINIUM (EGA)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments for the workplace, specific tasks, and job positions.

• Provide feedback to high-risk areas via risk assessment reports.

• Provide technical support to define action plans aimed at reducing or eliminating unacceptable exposures.

• Follow up on mitigation plans and assist departments in correcting deviations.

• Analyze results from exposure assessments and update sampling schedules based on implemented engineering controls or environmental changes.

• Provide technical support for selecting and approving Health-related Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Conduct PPE trials and oversee implementation at the shop floor level.

• Create and maintain a management system for all occupational hygiene equipment and accessories.

• Ensure the correct functioning, maintenance, and calibration of all sampling equipment.

• Plan, schedule, and execute health and hygiene inspections for plant and welfare facilities.

• Recommend corrective actions and follow up with departments regarding their action plans.

• Define and manage organization-wide Occupational Hygiene training needs.

• Prepare training packages and conduct sessions to ensure compliance with the overall training plan.
