Primary Skill
- Develops optimal, fit for purpose and aligned IT architecture solutions that meet business requirements ensuring architecture is robust, appropriate, high-quality and conform to corporate IT standards and roadmaps.
- Takes accountability for the end-to-end architecture, including architecture and technology decisions.
- Develops Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines in the information, application, and technology domains and collaborates with peer architects in the development of technology advancements and adaptation of new technologies and patterns.
- Conducts deep dive architecture reviews of vendor products as part of selection and other critical production applications together with Software Engineering development teams and provides architecture recommendations for the short and long-term improvement of applications.
- Oversees and governs the software development to ensure design and implementation done by the development team are in line with the proposed architecture definition, and final solution meets the agreed non-functional requirements.
- Owns, manages, and maintains the architecture roadmap and runways of small to medium size initiatives, products, environments and/or platforms and acts as a product owner and be accountable for proactively identifying, prioritizing, and overseeing the development of technical enablers, technical debts, quality improvements, and application modernization activities.
- Drives architecture decisions and be accountable for their implications regarding solution costs, delivery schedules, application complexity, technical debt and overall solution performance.
Role/Job Title
Senior Technical Engineer (Architect) (5-8 yrs of Architectural experience)
Location: Onsite - Dubai
Technical skills required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in Oracle EBS or Fusion platform.
- Strong understanding of core concepts in HR, Finance, and Procurement, including recruitment process, organizational hierarchy, payroll processing, financial reporting, budgeting, revenue accounting, procurement workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in Oracle E-Business Suite in HR, Finance, and Procurement modules, encompassing both technical and functional aspects.
- Proven experience in data integration between systems, particularly involving sensitive Finance and HR information, while adhering to industry-standard security best practices.
- Proven experience in orchestrating the integration of ERP systems with big data platforms to enable advanced analytics and data-driven insights.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and integration technologies. (e.g. Microservices, APIs, event driven framework, serverless computing).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with the Airline domain is a plus.
