Key responsibilities for a Sports Coach will include, but are not limited to:

• Coaching and managing school squads and teams

• Supporting PE and Games lessons alongside the PE department

• Coaching specialised topic areas

• Supporting after-school and weekend fixtures

• Contributing to the wider games curriculum across primary and secondary

• Coaching additional sports as needed

As part of our commitment to staff s personal and professional growth, comprehensive professional development will be provided to the successful candidate, who will:

• Be a fully qualified and experienced coach with a relevant specialist coaching qualification

• Have experience coaching one or more sports

• Have a high level of technical knowledge within their sport

• Be committed to personal professional development, with recent training relevant to this role

• Be able to use and promote a range of coaching strategies and create a stimulating, safe learning environment by establishing high expectations and implementing effective organisation and management

• Be able to inspire all pupils, from elite performers to beginners

• Be committed to holistic development and team collaboration

• Be committed to collaborating with other staff members and building strong relationships

• Be committed to safeguarding, child protection and the wider pastoral care of students

• Be able to contribute to wider school life through extracurricular activities and school community eventsbr>
