Driving business growth for the company by identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to expand the client base. This would involve working closely with the company's executive team to establish and execute the overall business strategy, as well as collaborating with other departments within the company, such as marketing and operations, to ensure that business development efforts are aligned with the company's overall goals and capabilities.

Review and monitor strategy implementation and ensure escalation where necessary

Develop and execute long-term business development strategic plans for the various regions in alignment with the various function and organization strategies.

Develop annual budget for business development and client management

Maintain a proactive client management relationship and ensure clear plans to retain and grow existing businesses

Set overall KPIs and targets for the Functions in line with Organizational performance targets and ensure achievement

Oversees the identification, screening, review, and evaluation of new business opportunities in accordance Company strategy.

Conducting research and analysis to identify potential clients, as well as trends and developments within the wastewater treatment industry.

Analyze market demand to identify potential new business opportunities and growth within existing businesses.

Conduct market analysis on business trends to enhance new services and products

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring that they are satisfied with the services provided by the company

Create an active customer follow up strategy and oversee the work associated with the client management teams

Negotiating contracts with clients, ensuring that they are mutually beneficial and meet the needs of both parties, and managing the ongoing relationship with clients to ensure that contracts are fulfilled as expected.

Work with the wider org. team to develop proposals to meet clients needs, and objectives and participate in the pricing of solutions and services

Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to promote the company's services and capabilities, working closely with the marketing department to create promotional materials, and identifying new business opportunities through targeted outreach and networking

Managing and leading the business development and client management team, setting goals and objectives, providing support and guidance, and ensuring that team members are motivated, productive, and aligned with the company's overall strategy.

Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, networking with other professionals and organizations in the wastewater treatment industry and promoting the company's services and capabilities.

Develops and maintains relationships with partners, relevant governmental ministries, and suppliers to ensure the company and its assets are optimally positioned to support achievement of its strategic objectives

Job Purpose:

Lead the Commercial operations of Majis company under delegated authority of MD, acting as single point of accountability and owner of Business Development and client management, strategies, processes, transactions, by aligning to the overall aspiration and strategic plans of Majis to building, and maintaining key customer relationships, Identifying business opportunities, and Closing business deals, through: (1) Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to expand the company's client base, (2) Managing the company's existing client relationships, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided, (3) Negotiating contracts with new and existing clients, ensuring that they are mutually beneficial and meet the needs of both parties, (4) representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, networking while maintaining relationships with partners, relevant governmental ministries, and suppliers, and (5) Oversees, provide support and guidance to the team members regarding Business Development & Client Management company's overall strategy; in order to ensure the driving of new business growth and the satisfaction of existing clients

Scope of Work

1. Business Development: Identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and developing relationships with customers and partners

  • Water services solutions (including Industrial Water treatment, Boiler and Colling water treatment, Water recycling and reuse, desalination, Engineering services)
  • Business opportunities identification and delivery (as per company strategy)
  • Processes including business intelligence, technical / economical valuation / Business Development

2. Clients Management: Managing customer relationships, handling complaints, and ensuring quality of services

  • B2B sales process management and improvements including the Marketing Intelligence requirements
  • Long term contracts (15-20 years)
  • Maintaining the annual revenue/sales growth
  • Evaluate specific requirements and evaluate the potential impacts on the operations
  • Understand business needs and provide customized solutions
  • Provide detailed technical information to potential clients
  • Negotiating terms, such as pricing, delivery schedules, and service agreements of existing clients
