ABOUT THE ROLE The GCFAO serves as the financial and administrative backbone of the Group, to professionalize and scale the back-office function across three core verticals: Precious Metals, Real Estate, and Hospitality. The role is accountable for delivering group-wide financial transparency through a strong consolidation framework and overseeing shared services (HR, IT, and systems) to streamline operations and remove administrative friction for the Executive Chairman. This candidate will lead group-wide finance functions, support investment and expansion decisions, optimize capital structures, and ensure compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Financial Leadership & Group Consolidation

• Group Consolidation & Reporting:
  Lead the selection and implementation of a Group-wide consolidation platform (ERP hub or CPM tool such as Lucanet, NetSuite, or Workday) to establish a single source of truth for Board-level reporting.

• Multi-Vertical Financial Integration:
  Standardize the Chart of Accounts (COA) across Trading (Neo), Hospitality (SunSystems), and the future Real Estate ERP, ensuring consistent data mapping and consolidated reporting.

• Capital Allocation & Treasury:
  Manage group liquidity and FX exposure, advising the Chairman on capital allocation across verticals to optimize returns and overall Group ROI.

• Audit, Controls & Governance:
  Oversee external audit relationships and ensure all verticals comply with international accounting, reporting, and governance standards.

2) Shared Services Management

• Operational HR Administration:
  Oversee the operational and administrative HR cycle. Strategic HR Management will be overseen directly by the Chairman.

• IT & Systems Governance:
  Manage IT and systems architecture to support a two-tier model (specialized vertical ERPs supported by a central Group hub), ensuring security, integration, and scalability.

• Procurement & Cost Optimization:
  Drive group-wide procurement and shared-cost efficiencies, leveraging buying power across areas such as insurance, software licensing, and vendor contracts, with the goal of reducing overhead costs.

3) Matrix Reporting & Governance

• Direct Financial Oversight:
  Provide solid-line management of Vertical Finance Managers, covering hiring, performance management, and technical financial accuracy.

• Executive Shielding & Escalation Management:
  Serve as the primary escalation point for Vertical CEOs on shared-service matters, resolving operational issues and removing daily operational intervention by the Chairman.
