Lead Financial Reporting & Performance Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Lead Financial Reporting & Performance Analyst with strong accounting fundamentals, deep SAP and financial systems expertise, and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful performance insights to work for the Downstream Finance, Planning & Permanence Management Department.

Your primary role is to ensure the integrity, quality, and relevance of Downstream financial reporting while proactively anticipating how business, operational, and market changes will impact financial statements, cash flow, and value-based metrics.

As the successful candidate will go beyond accurate reporting to actively improve processes, simplify workflows, and enhance how financial information is produced and used across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Financial Reporting & Systems Excellence - Leads and delivers accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal governance, serves as an SAP and financial systems expert, resolves complex reporting and system issues, and drives system integration and transformation initiatives to improve financial processes and organizational performance.

Performance Metrics & Forward-Looking Analysis - Expert in analyzing financial KPIs (P&L, ROACE, capital efficiency), assessing strategic decisions' financial impact, and delivering executive-level performance insights and accountability reporting.

Process Improvement & Transformation Leadership - Leads end-to-end finance process optimization, system integration, and transformation initiatives, ensuring enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and insight in financial operations. Champions automation, standardization, and control improvements while fostering cross-functional collaboration and maintaining robust governance and audit readiness.
