CATIA V6 Junior Designer

Responsibilities:

• Define the 3D beam paths while respecting the design rules and integration constraints.
• Implement the electronic control units in the vehicle environment in a manner consistent with existing interfaces.
• Create and manage interfaces: define needs, solicit different business lines and ensure overall consistency.
• Monitor the status of interfaces (requested, in progress, validated, refused) and update the associated documents.
• Create the formboards and FETE, then ensure their distribution to the 3D CD.
• Perform DFH (Beam Harness Distance) calculations to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Create the ST (Technical Standards) or "Beam Orientation" documents to guide the design.
• Complete and maintain the decommissioning document in accordance with the project rules.
• Collaborating with project teams and suppliers to ensure technical alignment and the quality of deliverables

Required technical skills:

• Proficiency in 3D design tools : CATIA V5/V6 and PLM tools for product data management.
• Knowledge of mechanics and electricity , with the ability to design simple mechanical components and understand electromechanical interfaces.
• Skills in 2D drafting and CAD , respecting project standards and constraints.
• Knowledge of project processes : APQP, ECR/ECO, as well as business rules in BIW telesing (3P, stamping, fitting).
• Understanding of the V-cycle and digital validation methods.
• Customer communication : ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and present technical solutions.
