Role Purpose:
Ensures the efficient implementation of the company s manpower planning and recruitment strategy, securing qualified talent that aligns with business objectives, culture, and values.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from workforce planning to onboarding, while maintaining a strong employer brand and candidate experience.
Key Accountabilities
Recruitment & Selection
Implement the company s annual manpower and recruitment plan.
Source, screen, and shortlist applicants based on position requirements and qualifications.
Conduct initial interviews, evaluate candidates fit (skills, attitude, and cultural alignment), and share shortlists with hiring managers.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and line managers; collect and consolidate feedback.
Validate degrees, certifications, and references of selected candidates.
Conduct salary benchmarking and propose offers within the approved pay scale.
Prepare employment offers, contracts, and ensure completion of pre-employment documentation.
Follow up on onboarding and ensure new hires are properly introduced to the company.
Manpower Planning & Reporting
Support the HR Director in manpower planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting vacancies.
Maintain and regularly update the Recruitment Tracker and related dashboards to monitor hiring progress, open positions, and time-to-fill KPIs.
Prepare and share regular recruitment status reports with management.
Support workforce analytics and ensure alignment between actual headcount and approved structure.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
Promote FDC as an employer of choice through proactive engagement and presence on job portals, social media, and university events.
Manage job postings on career websites, LinkedIn, and internal platforms.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout all stages of recruitment.
Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and academic institutions.
Policies, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and Lebanese Labor Law.
Recommend improvements to recruitment processes, selection tools, and sourcing methods to enhance efficiency.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee and candidate files.
Support HR projects related to talent management, performance, and retention as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
A Master s degree or HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, etc.) is a plus.
Experience:
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
Experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques, interviewing methods, and labor market trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using ATS / HRIS systems.
Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
